Time Trekkers, Epilogue 9: Crash

By Sean (Rockman Shadow)

The Time Trekkers are in another incredibly pointless fight with Chaos Clock.

Rockman Shadow: Why don’t you give up?  You never win.

Chaos Clock: Yes, but now I’ve figured out why and I will be able to finally defeat you all.  There are two things that seem to ensure your victory or that you will quickly recover.

Kosumo Man: Is it because we’re the heroes and fan favorites so we have to survive?

Chaos Clock: No!  It is because your robots so you can always be repaired or rebuilt and because your stupid super computer probably has backups of your personalities and copies of your blueprints!

Clock Man: Yeah, it really sucks to be you then.  No way you will ever win.

Chaos Clock: No, I already figured out how to get rid of you forever.

Compas(s) Man: How are you then going to do it?

Chaos Clock: Do you notice that Metroid Empress is not with me currently?

A loud explosion is heard and the remains of what seems to be a computer fly into the room and hit Konro Man on the head.

Konro Man: Ow!

Rockman Shadow: Trenchancy!

Trenchancy: Error.  All systems failing...

Rockman Shadow: I can’t believe you!  Do you know how much time went into that?

Clock Man: I thought you threw it together in less then an hour after you got parts from Dr. Light.

Rockman Shadow: Is that my fault that it didn’t take me too long?

Clock Man: Actually, yeah.

Rockman Shadow: Shut up.

Konro Man: So where is Boba Fett.

Chaos Clock does nothing but point up.  A space ship is seen up above.

Rockman Shadow: The Slave II…

Compas(s) Man: Huh?

Kosumo Man: The Slave II was a ship used by Boba after losing the Slave I.

Rockman Shadow: It took heavy damage so stopped being used after the Slave I recovered.  Why use the useless one though?  Must of cost you a fortune to repair and possibly upgrade.

Boba Fett(In Slave II): Because this baby is going to automatically pilot itself to the sun after I exit and your safely stowed away.

The weapons target the Time Trekkers and get ready to fire.  Some prepared to dodge or counterattack, but Rockman Shadow just begun to grab stuff off the ground.  The blasts hit and the Time Trekkers fell.

Chaos Clock: Throw them inside and set the autopilot.  This should be the end of them.

Boba Fett(In Slave II): I better get a bonus for this.

Metroid Empress: I’m lucky, all I had to do was blow up that stupid computer.

Hours later…

Compas(s) Man: My head...

Konro Man: This is worse that getting hit on the head with the remains of a computer.

Rockman Shadow: Not the time for complaining about your heads.

Clock Man: Yeah, the sun is going to hurt much more.

Kosumo Man: Okay, so what do we do?

Rockman Shadow: I don’t know.

Compas(s) Man: What?  As leader you always have to have a plan.

Rockman Shadow: Let me think for a second, we’re hurtling towards the sun at an amazing speed and have little control.  The controls are out of reach and probably unusable.  Okay, we’re doomed.

Kosumo Man: Not helping.

Rockman Shadow: Okay… I have the remains of Trenchancy still and we have some supplies probably.  Everyone give me your time travel components and whatever you have on you.  Konro Man and Dangan Man try to find the controls for the ship.

Compas(s) Man: You have a plan now?

Rockman Shadow: I would not call it much of a plan since I have no clue what I’m doing and since the last step involves praying.  I need the rest of you to find some device here that looks like it might be something important.

After a few minutes, things were disconnected and put together in any order.  Buttons were randomly pushed.  Switches were flipped repeatedly.  Still nothing was really happening.

Rockman Shadow: Okay, I think I might have a decent idea now.

Clock Man: Does it involve sacrificing one of us to the devil in order to get safety?

Rockman Shadow: No.

Devil: Aw. I guess I’ll just leave now.

Rockman Shadow: I think I managed to reset up Trenchancy and link our computer to the ship well enough that Trenchancy might be able to control it.  Our time travel technology can be used to allow the engines to create a wormhole and take us through it.  It basically involves activating almost everything in less than a minute since we’ll soon be too close to the sun.  This will likely fry everything and we might die anyways.  Trenchancy if you are active answer and do it.

Trenchancy: Affirmative.  Locating and accessing all operational systems…  Systems located and access granted…  Now activating…

For a few seconds nothing happens.  The lights start flickering inside and the Slave II seems to spin out of control inside.  Where the Slave II was it no longer is.  In less than half an hour, a distant planet the ship is orbiting.

Rockman Shadow: Okay that worked now to land this ship.

Trenchancy: Error.  Power is failing.  Crash is imminent.  Crash is unavoidable.

Kosumo Man: Can you try to pilot this thing well enough so that we survived and tell us where we are?!

Trenchancy: Requests received.  Granting will be attempted on Request #1 and Request #2.  Information on surroundings gained.  We are above and hurtling towards the planet Woton II.  Request #2 is granted.  Request#1 is still being worked on.

Clock Man: Hey, this is better than any ride they make you pay for at the amusement parks.

Dangan Man: Shut up.

Compas(s) Man: Good, you can talk.  I was worried Clock Man served us the parts that allowed you to speak this morning since you’ve been so quiet.

Mutalisk: Skree!

Compas(s) Man: Did we just hit a Mutalisk?

Rockman Shadow: Yep and we’re about to crash into a wraith.

Dangan Man: Wow, we really arrived during the middle of a battlefield.  There seems to be several guys fleeing.

As several units move out of the way, the Slave II continues to crash and eventually hits the earth near a Terran Base.

Rockman Shadow: Is everyone still alive?

Clock Man: I think so.

Trenchancy: I am communicating with a Terran command center currently to try and work it out so they don’t kill us.  It would be a good idea to not use your robot master forms.

Konro Man: Well this is going to stink.

Compas(s) Man: Ooh, do you think I could get a battle cruiser or get to be a ghost or…

Konro Man: Okay, well at least for most of us.
